"...with God all things are possible" -Matthew 19:26

Our Faith

From the moment Kyle arrived at the hospital on 11/25/2019 we were told he would not survive, and we knew he was facing the impossible. Once he survived the impossible, he had an impossible road ahead. We were told he may never wake up from is coma, he will never walk again, he will never talk again, the impossibilities were endless! So we clung to our Faith, and told the doctors to do what they could to save Kyle and our God would take care of the rest. Matthew 19:26 became our bible verse for Kyle, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

Miracles

We all had hoped for a miraculous and complete healing for Kyle. The days turned into weeks and then into months, as we patiently and faithfully waited for God to bring Kyle back to us. Through that time, we held onto hope—hope in his strength, in the power of prayer, and in the love that surrounded him from near and far.

And while the healing we longed for didn’t come in the way we imagined, we were blessed to witness a series of quiet, powerful miracles along the way. We saw Kyle take his first assisted steps after so much time—small, determined movements that felt like giant leaps forward. We watched him learn to use his voice again, speaking words that carried emotion and intention, and even singing when the joy stirred within him. There were moments of lightness, too—like the way he danced in his wheelchair, his spirit shining through in rhythm and laughter. We celebrated the day he could once again take bites of food and drink water on his own, reclaiming small but profound pieces of independence.

These moments were gifts—glimpses of the resilience and courage that defined Kyle’s journey. Though the final healing didn’t come in the form we hoped for, we know that Kyle is now whole and at peace in God’s eternal care. His spirit, his laughter, and his bravery remain with us—etched deeply in our hearts.

God's Plan

Sometimes it’s hard to accept God’s plan when it doesn’t align with your own. It took a while to accept that God had a different purpose for Kyle’s life than what we had hoped for. We all prayed and believed Kyle would be healed here on earth and that he would one day share his miraculous recovery with others—telling his story, inspiring faith, and showing the world what God had done.

However, God had another plan—one that we may never fully understand this side of heaven. Instead of a complete earthly healing, God chose to heal Kyle in eternity. He called him home, where there is no more pain, no more struggle, and no more limitations. And while it’s heartbreaking to let go of the future we imagined, we trust that Kyle’s life still tells a powerful story—a story of faith, resilience, and the countless miracles we were blessed to witness along the way.
