Kyle was an active 19 year old college student at Washington State University. At the time of the accident, he was living in the Lambda Chi fraternity at WSU and working on his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with the intentions of going to fire academy after graduation and becoming a fireman. Kyle flew home to California for Thanksgiving break on Saturday Nov. 23rd, 2019. Tragically, he was involved in a serious accident in the early morning hours of Monday, November 25, 2019, and his life was never the same.
Kyle came from a big family. Prior to going to college he lived in Trabuco Canyon, CA with his mother Jen, stepfather Jerome, older brother Ethan, and 3 younger sisters Katelyn, Savannah & Caroline. On the weekends he visited his dad, Greg, stepmom Mary, and 2 younger siblings, Brooklyn & Elijah.
Kyle was an adventurous, happy soul. He had many friends, he played football & wrestled in high school. Kyle loved the beach, loved to sing & dance, be goofy, make jokes but most of all make others smile & laugh. Even after his severe traumatic brain injury, Kyle maintained that adventurous spirit, funny personality, and contagious smile.
Kyle grew up Catholic. He attended St. Jeanne's in Temecula, St. Serra in RSM and Santa Margarita Catholic High School in RSM. He had his faith and believed in Jesus, but after his accident his love for Jesus was undeniable. Kyle would greet everyone with a "God bless you" when they came to visit him. He would tell them he would pray for them when they left, and he was always talking to us about his "Buddy" Jesus. Even on the darkest days, Kyle was always reassuring us that Jesus loved us and he had a place for all of us in Heaven.
